Can you manufacture a product based on an existing sample or reference product?

2026-08-19

Yes. You do not always need to start with a complete technical specification.

If you already have a physical sample, product from another manufacturer, prototype, drawing, photograph, or concept, you can provide it to us for evaluation.   Our team can review the structure and help identify the main manufacturing specifications required to reproduce or improve the product.

We can assist with evaluating dimensions, paper and board materials, construction, binding, component combinations, packaging structures, and decorative effects.

If certain materials or production methods are not practical for the required quantity or budget, we can also suggest alternative solutions that achieve a similar appearance or function.

This approach is particularly useful for clients who have a finished product concept but do not yet have a complete manufacturing specification.

How does the production process work from inquiry to delivery? What quality assurance measures do you have?

Our production process is straightforward and transparent.   Here’s how it typically works:

Inquiry & Specification – You provide your project details, including product type, quantity, size, paper stock, binding, and finishing requirements (lamination, embossing, foil stamping, etc.).

Quotation & Confirmation – We send you a detailed quote. Once you confirm, we move to the next step.

File Review & Sample Production – You provide your print-ready PDF files (300 DPI recommended, with 3mm bleed included). We review the files for technical issues and produce a physical sample for your approval.

Sample Approval & Deposit – After you approve the sample, you pay the 50% deposit to start mass production.

Mass Production & In-line QC – We manufacture your order using our full-scale offset printing presses (e.g., Heidelberg). Throughout production, we conduct multiple quality checks — including color density verification, registration accuracy, and binding strength tests — to ensure consistency and quality.

Final Payment & Shipment – Once production is complete and final quality inspection (FQI) passes, we notify you to arrange the 50% balance payment. After payment is confirmed, we ship the order and provide shipping details.

We also offer pre-press technical support to help you with file setup — including providing die-cut templates and bleed guides if needed. And yes, we welcome client inspections during or after production. If you’re not able to visit in person, we can arrange remote inspection via video call or send detailed photos for your review.
