When producing custom printed products, a physical sample can often communicate details that cannot be fully described through digital files alone.
Recently, one of our pontential customers sent us physical samples as a reference for their project. The samples gave our production team a clearer understanding of the expected appearance, materials, structure, finishing details, and overall quality.
With the physical samples in hand, our team was able to carefully review the product and use them as a reference throughout the sampling process. This helped us better evaluate important details such as paper selection, color appearance, binding structure, finishing effects, and overall presentation.
Customer-provided samples are especially valuable during the prototype stage. They allow us to compare our production results with the customer's existing product and identify areas that may need adjustment before moving into mass production.
Through this process, we can fine-tune the specifications and production details to make sure the prototype is as close as possible to the customer's expectations.
The reference samples are also helpful after the prototype stage. Once the final specifications are confirmed, they provide our production team with a clear physical reference for mass production and quality control.
This is particularly useful for customized projects involving special materials, complex binding structures, or multiple finishing techniques. Having a physical reference helps reduce misunderstandings and allows our team to maintain greater consistency throughout the production process.
We truly appreciate our customers who provide physical samples and detailed references. Their input allows us to understand their expectations more accurately and helps us deliver better results—from the first prototype to the final mass-produced products.
At Bestrand Printing, we believe that good communication and careful attention to detail are key to turning a customer's idea into a finished product.
